About this place
At Minazuki Coffee, you can settle in with a coffee on its own or pair it with toast or something sweet. The menu includes a house blend and single-origin coffees such as Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Mandheling, Kenya and Ethiopia. One visitor found the blend clean and easy to drink, without too much bitterness; another, on a separate visit, recalled its fragrant aroma and balanced bitterness. You might compare different origins, or start with the blend and a light bite.
Cheese toast is one option for a snack. One diner enjoyed the combination of Camembert and honey, while another liked the generous amount of cheese and its sweet-and-savoury flavour. Visitors have also said the pudding’s pleasantly firm texture and bittersweet caramel go well with coffee—a good pairing when you’re in the mood for dessert, too.
If you’re looking for a seasonal cake, the menu also lists fig cheesecake. A diner described the tiny crunch of the fig seeds in the cake and the flavour of the jam on top. A more unusual speciality is roasted sweet potato: the menu lists Beniharuka from Ibaraki in small, medium and large sizes for ¥300, ¥450 and ¥600, respectively. One visitor remembered the warm, moist potato’s simple sweetness. You can enjoy it with coffee in the café, or take the roasted sweet potato away.
Reviews describe this Hirano Honmachi café as a compact space with counter seats and a small table. One visitor spent time there alone, looking through a book. Choose coffee and a baked treat for a quiet break, or cheese toast for a light meal.
